Very solid pick. Smart player, good in coverage.

Good Move. I would have been fine with Mays as well, but I think I would prefer a safety with better coverage skills.

demps never got a chance to earn the job back since he had persistent hamstring and ankle injuries. 2010 will be his 3rd year in the NFL, and i think he'll break through, knowing his career is on the line.

nate allen isn't better than him, and demps' experience gives him an edge.

You're crazy if you think Allen isn't a more talented player than Demps.

Him expecting to be handed the job and not working says a lot about him as it is. If he breaks through thats great, but to say Allen who will be a rookie isn't better then Demps who has yet to show everything, and blew his chance due to a lack of effort is absurd. Allen is a hard working, and very good in coverage something this team needs back there.

so the argument FOR Demps includes him being lazy & arrogant coming into camp? lol.

When the Eagles drafted Demps, wasn't Reid or someone ****ing QUOTED for saying, "Demps is not an NFL safety," and he would be a special teamer and a return man? I'm serious here...I remember something like this.

So comparing any safety we draft to Demps instantly does not make much sense.

are you making excuses as to why he couldn't beat out macho? good players beat out the competition regardless of the situation. demps is not that good. if he lost the competition because of your excuse, then he has a loser mentality and doesn't deserve to start.
